Background Story

This sign was commissioned for Karmic Grind as a custom branding piece with a handmade presence. The design features the shop's coffee cup logo, geometric detailing, and Wired & Inspired tagline inlaid into a live edge walnut slab.

Challenges

Commercial signage has to be recognizable, durable, and true to the brand at a glance. The maple inlay required clean detail and strong contrast against the walnut while preserving the natural character of the slab.

Outcome

The finished sign measures 8 5/8 by 15 1/8 inches and brings warmth and craftsmanship to the Karmic Grind brand. It gives the coffee shop a distinctive piece of signage that feels local, intentional, and built to last.
